QUOTE FOR THE DAY
There was this guy asking me why there was a Sloan Women In Management Club. Shouldn't there be one for men too? I wanted to say, 'Yes there is - it's called Sloan.'

C-FUNCTION RECAP
Apart from the usual cast of ghouls and goblins, there was
...a gigantic blond afro
...Ben in a frightening impersonation of Richard Simmons (though we think he should have gone to a tanning salon first for the full LA effect)
...Dalein in a skirt (ok, he was a Viking but we still missed his superman costume from last year with the enhanced, ahem, pelvic region to further justify the "man of steel" moniker)
...Lightning bug bottoms - woohoo!
...a planned-since-spring complete Ghostbusters troupe with the authentic patches, full-on zappers, Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and Slimer - bravo, boys, bravo, so this is why you guys never show up for class
...mad hooking up on the dance floor and beyond - really folks, there should be more of this going on
...Smurfette at the bar. Blue and white never looked so good.
...dance duels c/o our resident choreographer Julia and a hyped-up Mark - much thanks to our great DJ's, btw
...best of all, flyboy Kirsch getting down on the dance floor. That man sure can move.
...playboy bunnies, a full-leather catwoman, a hula girl with authentic coconuts, wood nymphs and schoolgirls

All I can say is where were the Chippendales dancers?

On that note -

CLUB 141.
Tonight there's a party at 141 Charles Street and y'all are invited. Hedonism has been promised. Matt is once again demonstrating his awesome bartending skills and the mirror ball has been polished just for the occasion.

What are you still doing at home? Get out and party at La Boom for the annual Sloan Halloween C-function tonight. Nurses, french maids, Batman body suits...and lots of halloween candy. yum...candy.

BEACON HILL SOCIAL CLUB. Someone has hijacked The Onion as an advertising tool for the BHP. Come for the cheap beer (it certainly won't be the stylish atmosphere) and the sticky film of spilled alcohol on the floor from drinking nights' past.
